Gary Gene Barnickle, Sr. of the Bodenham Community passed away June 20, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. He was born on April 6, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, TN and was 71 years old. He was a life-long farmer in Giles County and was retired from the Giles County Highway Department.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 21st from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Choates Creek Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 201 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hule and Rosa Lee Faught Barnickle and a sister Ann Watson.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jennie Sneed Barnickle of Pulaski, son Gene(Tangie)Barnickle of Pulaski, daughter Sherry(Jason)Sumners of Pulaski, son Tim(Lydia)Barnickle of Pulaski. 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
