Arthur G. Weldy, 50, Dies in Hospital
Arthur Guy Weldy, 50, of 920 North Lowbar, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's hospital. Mr. Weldy had suffered for several years from asthma. He entered the hospital Saturday.
He was born Aug. 6, 1890 in South Dakota, coming to Decatur as a child. He married Irene Francis on July 2, 1926.
Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Bessie, William and Jessie. He also leaves a brother, Perry Weldy, of Decatur, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Wurtzbach of Denver.
The body was taken to the Moran and Sons Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
