Mrs. Anna Cauveren Russell, 73, 1980 Garfield, Kansas City, Kansas, died to day at Providence Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. Mrs. Russell was a member of the London Heights United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Bethany Hospital Guild. She was survived by her husband, Charles W. Russell, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Sherry, 4818 Webster, Kansas City, Kansas; a step-daughter, Mrs. Margaret Spriester, 4945 North Lister; two sons, Wilbur Cauveren, 5725 Oxford, Raytown, and James Cauveren, 2019 North 86th Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Katheryn Sprague, 1213 Bunker, and Mrs. Helen Hicks, 2118 North 29th, both of Kansas City, Kansas; five brothers, Albert Hughey, Galena, Kansas; Early Hughey, Lincoln, Missouri, and Charles Hughey, 42 South 13th, Harry Hughey, 6140 Leavenworth, and Fred Hughey, 2215 Lowell, all of Kansas City, Kansas; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Porter Chapel. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Friends called at the chapel from 6 to 9 o'clock Friday night.
