Susan Hulda Miller was the daughter of Daniel Arnold Miller (also buried in Farmington City Cemetery, plot F-54-2) and Clarissa Jane Pond Miller. On 25 February 1861 Susan married William Van Orden Carbine in Farmington, Utah. Her children were William Arnold (born Dec. 25, 1861) and Edmund Z (born Sept. 25, 1864). She became ill with a tumor below her ear in December of 1866 and died on May 26, 1867 in Farmington. After moving to Cache Valley three years later, on May 30, 1870, William VO Carbine married Sarah J. Miller, daughter of Henry W. Miller.

Gravesite Details

Well kept, flat stone marker is below mowed grass level, a few feet north of large "Mark Eldon Howell" obelisk. The marker can be a little difficult to read due to some stains on the stone, but fortunately the lettering is darker.
