Billy Glaser Bailey, 89 of Malden, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Mr. Bailey is the son of Britten B. and Pansy Glaser Bailey. He as born Thursday, June 14, 1928 in Malden, Missouri.
He was the owner and operator of the Bailey Brothers Store in Malden and he was a member of the Malden United Methodist Church. He served in the US Army from 8 Nov 1950 to 11 Sept 1956. Bill was united in marriage to Earlene Berry on November 15, 1953 in Hernando, Mississippi. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Sandra Cox of Lewisville, Texas and Lisa Dahlquist and husband, John of Laguna Niguel, California; two grandchildren, Erik and William Dahlquist; and one brother, Richard Bailey and wife, Marla, of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, La Nelle Sturgeon; and one brother, Galen Bailey.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will immediately follow in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden or the National Kidney Foundation.
