FEB. 10, 1919—APRIL 21, 2018

ELLETTSVILLE — Mary Jane Robinson, 99, of Ellettsville, passed away at her residence on Saturday morning, April 21, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Ellettsville on February 10, 1919, the daughter of Carl and Nellie (Coffey) Crum. Mary Jane worked at Sarkes Tarzian, Unique Flower Shoppe, and Mary M’s Flowers in Bloomington. She was a loving wife and mother, sharing her homemaking skills with her children. Mary Jane was a member of the Ellettsville First Baptist Church and volunteered with the Reeves Club, the Vernal Club and the Mary Dozen.

Mary Jane’s family would like to thank Hearthstone Health Campus and Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving care given to her and her family during Mary Jane’s illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert N. Robinson, in 1977; a daughter, Suzanne; and two infant daughters.

Mary Jane is survived by her children Gregory Robinson (Diana), Barry Robinson (Lynn), and Mary Lou Shelly; beloved grandson, Carl Robinson; grandchildren, Renee Jung (Ted), Emily Edwards (Josh), Christi Vanhorn (Jeff), Kyle Robinson, Kenzie Robinson, Brad Ayers, Randi Anderson, Angela Kinley (Steve Kenrick), and Traci Alltop (Kenny); and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Ellettsville First Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Mark Villanova officiating. Burial is to follow at Methodist Cemetery.
