He was born at Joker, WV, a son of the late Chester C. and Dorothy E. (Hughes) Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds served in the U. S. Army and retired from Walker Parkersburg. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and a good round of golf, but most of all, he enjoyed working in his garden.
Surviving is his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara D. (Cooper) Reynolds, son Dave Reynolds (Sherry), brother Olin Reynolds, sister Eva Stewart, brothers-in-law: Donnie Cooper (Jane) and Woody Shaver along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael Reynolds, infant daughters Debra and Diane, brother Delford Reynolds, brother-in-law Bill Stewart and sister-in-law Edith Shaver.
Funeral services will be Sunday 2PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor John Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be Saturday 5-8PM and one hour prior to services.
The Reynolds family would like to give a special thanks to the James Cancer Center, The Strecker Cancer Center, Hospice and the nurses at CCMC.
