Norman graduated from Pflugerville High School in 1947. He married the love of his life, Virginia (Israel) Weiss, November 10, 1951. After serving in the Marine Corps for 2 years, he returned home for a dedicated career as a farmer and rancher, where he was the best weatherman around.
He was a baptized, confirmed, and lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching sports, pampering his dog, Raisin, and spending time with family and loved ones. When he could no longer do the farm work himself, he continued to supervise his children to make sure the job was done right.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia, of 67 years; and three caring children, Keith (Durenda), Gordon (Betty), and Wendy; along with six grandchildren, Kevin (Katie), Brandi (Paul), Nicole (Jason), Heather, Lindsey (Mike) and Candie; eleven great-grandchildren; a devoted sister, Shirley and husband, Otto; and very dear and loving friend, Kayla.
Norman was predeceased by parents, Marie and Ewald Weiss, his sister, Margie and her husband, Ernest Cherry.
