Martha Delle (Ainsworth) Lewis-Lauden went to Heaven on June 12, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1934, being the first baby born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1934.
She grew up to on a ranch around Lawn, TX, with her sister, Peggy, and brothers, John and Tex. She met her husband, George Harvey Lewis, at Tarlton State. They married December 20, 1952.
She was employed by El Paso Natural Gas Company for a time. Martha went to work for the State of Texas in 1961 and retired in 1987 after working her way up in the comptroller's office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Harvey Lewis, who passed away on March 27, 1989.
She later met and married Wayne J Lauden on October 23, 1997.
She is survived by her three children, LaDelle L. Williams, John T. Lewis and Lucretia Lewis; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Martha's final resting place will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with George Harvey Lewis.
