Lola Mae Lucas left us to be with the Lord at 83 years of age on June 8, 2018 in Waterford, California. Lola was born on August 6, 1934 in Spiro, Oklahoma, the youngest of 7 children, to Nanna Maye and Riley Floyd Morse. At a young age her family moved to Yuma, Arizona and then to California, eventually settling in Modesto. After attending Modesto High School, she married Paul Dean Lucas Sr. Together they had three sons. While raising her boys she worked at Campbell's Soup until moving to Fremont, California where she worked for many years at Sears and Roebuck Warranty Contract Department before moving back to the Central Valley (Waterford.) She then worked for Dry Creek Realty and Valley Sales. After Paul's death in 1995, she married Winfred Percy Lucas and they were married 19 years until his death in 2015. Lola was a devoted Christian growing up in the Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and a true friend.
