Aileen Margie Borum, 75, of Mesa, AZ, went to be with Jesus Christ on Sept. 9, 2003. Born in Fort Towson, OK on July 17, 1928, she came to Arizona in 1964 from Oklahoma City, OK. She was a banker for 32 years, and was the first woman ever to be a bank president in Arizona. She also was a bank manager for several years. She was on the Board of Valley Lutheran Hospital for 10 years and was a member of Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her sisters, Verna Little and Ella Belle Miller; grandchildren, Danielle Kozell and Kimberly Latham; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces, Wynona Meurer and Barbara Bullock; and nephew, Robert Bates. Service will be held on Sat., Sept. 13, 2003 at 10:30am with visitation beginning at 9am before the service at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
