Miss Jamerson was a teacher and was employed with the White County School District for 50 years, where she also served as the Carmi High School librarian. She was a member of the Springerton Methodist Church, then First United Methodist Church in Carmi.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Jamerson and three sisters, Elizabeth Huffer, Clara Barton and Nauvard "Tinnie" Bolyard.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Hammack Cemetery in Springerton. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi.
