Graveside services for Mrs. Bettye June Chapman of West Monroe, LA will be 10:00am Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Drive West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Chapman was born June 29, 1947 in Kilbourne, LA and passed from this life on June 10, 2018 in Ruston, LA at the age of 70. She enjoyed cooking and arts and crafts, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to all who met her. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Chapman; one grandson, D.J. Green; one brother, William; and three sisters, Nellie, Jessie and Shirley.
Survivors include her son, Mike Wingfield and wife, Lori of West Monroe; one daughter, Beverly Stricklin of Monroe; five grandchildren, Kevin Colgan, Jasmine Brown, Chase Wingfield, William Barett Toler and Sarah Whitney Toler; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
