William Gaston Pennington died on the morning of July 1st at the age of 67 years. Mr. Pennington was a highly respected citizen, a farmer and Christian gentleman. His widow, a son, W. C. Pennington, and a daughter, Miss Jennie Pennington, survive. The funeral services were conducted from the residence on Randolph street Saturday morning by Pastor R. G. Tuttle and Rev. W.A. Lambeth, of High Point, after which interment was made in the city cemetery.
