Jeffery A. Stout Sr., 66, of Council Cup passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his home, surrounded by family.
Born in Berwick, on April 7, 1952, he was a son of the late Margaret P. (Turner) and Richard F. Stout Sr. He attended Nescopeck School.
In his younger years, he was employed as a crane operator for the Berwick AC&F. Later, he worked at Tuzzi’s Bakery. In the early 1980s, he started at Asplundh, where he was a tree trimmer until retiring in 2004.
Jeff was a member of the VFW Post 8227, Nescopeck. He played pool in the American Poolplayers Association and also like to play golf. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and camping. Jeff liked watching football and was an avid 49ers fan.
He will be greatly missed by his sons: Jeffery A. Stout Jr. and Levi A. Stout, both of Berwick; grandsons: Zachary M. Stout and Joseph A. Stout; sisters: Linda (Stout) Mowery and husband, Jim, Nescopeck, Corlene (Stout) King and husband, Walt, Council Cup, Beth Stout, Council Cup; brothers: Richard “Butch” Stout Jr. and wife, Doris, Berwick, Walter Stout, Mifflin Township, Clinton Stout and wife, Sharon, Council Cup, Roger Stout and wife, Sally, Nescopeck, David Stout, New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
At Jeff’s request, there will be no public services.
