Gladys Irene Alewine, 94, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto County in Southaven.
She was born Aug. 25, 1905, in Panola County to Fletcher and Frances Leatherwood Alewine.
She was a retired domestic worker and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pope.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today.
