PIERRE - Gladys Imogene Traver Beam, 90, Pierre, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Aberdeen.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Danielson, Stayton, Ore., and Richard Danielson, Star Prairie, Wis.; two daughters, Judith Collier, Elizabeth City, N.C., and Roberta Lovald, Pierre; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert Backhaus and Herbert Ketchum, both of Linton, N.D.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Lutheran Memorial Church in Pierre.
A prayer service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Peace Lutheran Church in Linton.
Burial will be Sunday at Linton City Cemetery.

Isburg-Hofmeister Funeral Chapel of Pierre is in charge of arrangements.

Gladys Imogene Traver was born July 17, 1911 in Seneca, Faulk County, South Dakota, the daughter of Leo A Traver and Rose E Bietler .
1st marriage: She married Manvel Renold Danielson on September 8, 1930 in Edmonds, South Dakota.
2nd marriage: She married John Herman Backhaus on May 18, 1947 in Linton, North Dakota.
3rd marriage: She married James Russell Beam in 1962. He was born February 23, 1907 and died June 6, 1975.
