Amos Schrock, Jr., 75, of Goshen, formerly of Millersburg, died at 8:55 am on Wednesday, June 6, at his residence, after a six-month battle with cancer.

He was born on May 6, 1943 in LaGrange County, to Amos and Elizabeth (Miller) Schrock. On January 30, 1966 in Elkhart County he married Nancy Miller, she survives.

Survivors in addition to his wife are three daughters, Debi and Michelle both of Jimtown, Anita of Goshen; son, Michael of Middlebury; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mable (Glen) Graber of New Paris, Loretta (Ivan) Wagler of Irvine, OH, Estar Schrock of Middlebury; five brothers, Clemens Schrock of Lakeland, FL, Freman A. Schrock of South Bend, Lee Schrock of Jimtown, Orva (Jenny) Schrock and Ray A. (Leah) Schrock both of Goshen; sister-in-law, Florence Schrock of Middlebury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Noah Schrock, infant brothers, Alvin and Glen Schrock.

He was a member of the former Forks Mennonite Church and now the Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene. He had worked at Jayco for 15 1/2 years and several years as a delivery driver for Jenkins NAPA in Goshen. He was a Farmall tractor collector and enjoyed small engine repair. Amos loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 10 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury.

Family and friends will gather from 8:00 - 8:45 am at the funeral home on Monday, June 11 to travel in procession to Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen for a 9:00 am graveside service.

A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am on Monday, June 11 at Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene, 11435 W. 025 South, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastors Gary Sheets, Eugene Bontrager, and Phil Yoder.

Memorials may be given to Goshen Center for Cancer Care or Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene.
