Mary Laverne (Vern) McLemore, age 69, of Vonore, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center. She is a member of Ballplay Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was saved at the age of 17 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by son, Timmy Hughes, granddaughter, Leada Presley, parents, Raymond and Louise McLemore, step-son, Thomas Wellman, step-daughter, Shannon Lankford, former husbands, Tom Wellman and David Lankford.

Funeral 8:00 p.m. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Mike Blair and Rev. Tommy Self officiating. Interment 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville
