[1850 US Federal Census from Catawba County North Carolina on 3 Aug 1850] Census shows 40/42 people as being born in Catawba or "ditto". The other 2 were not born in North Carolina. Burrell's younger 6 siblings were born in Iredell, and his mother died in Iredell in 1824 (when he was only 16), the Census taker in 1850 was probably in error writing "ditto" (Catawba).
