Mr William Avery Young, age 89, of Atlanta, Ga, died Feb 11, 1984. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs V E (Althea) Sims, Atlanta, Mrs R C (Mary Lou) Smith of Griffin, Mrs Cecil (Jeanette) Elkins of Conyers, Ga, two brothers, Mr C E Young, Decatur, Mr C D Young, Marietta, two sisters, Mrs Veora Sasser, East Point, Mrs Ann Webb, Brookhaven, Ga, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of Pinetree Park Baptist Church and a WWI Army Veteran. Funeral services will be at A S Turner & Sons Chapel on Monday, Feb 13 at 1 pm with Rev James T Posey officiating. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. A S Turner & Sons.
