Mrs. Adeline E. Brunn, 93, of the the city's oldest residents, died Saturday morning at the home of her son, Herman A. Brunn, 312 Middlesex road. She lost her sight many years ago and had been confined to her bed for two years.
Born in Allentown, Pa., Mrs. Brunn came to Buffalo as a small girl and had lived here the remainder of her life. Half a century ago she conducted a millinery business in 382 Main street for several years.
Her husband Andrew Brunn who died more than 20 years ago, was associated with the Flint and Kent company. He was chairman of the committee which founded the Buffalo Orpheus band was president of it for many years. He was a member of the 116th new York Volunteers in the Civil War, at the close of which he was one of the 5000 German-born commissioned officers in the army.
Mrs. Brunn attended Trinity Episcopal church.
She is survived by her son.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 pm in the home of her son. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.
