Thomas served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War stateside. He retired after 44 years from Koppers’ Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Thomas for always being like a kid and having a coin or something special for them.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae (McGavitt) Wenzel Brown, step-daughter, Nancy Patterson, step grandson, Matthew Patterson, and sister, Marian L. Sohn.
Thomas is survived by his four step children; ten step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren, three siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV, with Military Honors by the WV Army National Guard and the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
