Carl B. Redding, 73, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in Lutheran Hospital. Born in Zanesville, Mr Redding lived in Fort Wayne most of his life. He retired in 1975 from General Electric Co. after 32 years. Surviving are his wife, Ada, one son, Larry C., of Fort Wayne, brother, Kenneth, of Fort Wayne, three sisters Helen, of Fort Wayne, Mabel Magnuson, of Auburn, and Janet Kahale, of Hoffman Estates, Ill., and one grandchild. Services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Elzey-Dickey-Haggard home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to American Lung Association or First Wayne Street United Methodist Church.
