Ronnie Mikel Brown, age 47, a resident of Augusta, Georgia, passed away suddenly Sunday,
May 27, 2018. He was born June 17, 1970, in St. Augustine, Florida, to Harold Ereckson Brown,
St. Augustine, and Mary Ann Jarvis (Jim), Green Cove Springs. He was preceded in death by his
paternal grandparents, Harold and Grace Brown, and his maternal grandparents, King and Mary Thomas.

Ronnie is survived by his parents; his sons Joshua Stephen Smith and Jacob Smith, and daughter,
Sarah Grace Smith, all of Middleburg, Florida; his brother, Ereck Brown and his wife, Lisa, and
their daughter, Kaylee, all of St. Augustine, Florida; his long time companion, Melanie Denman
and her family in Augusta, Georgia; his aunts, uncles, several cousins, and their families, and
many, many friends nationwide, too numerous to list.

A memorial service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel, Green Cove Springs, Florida, at
10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Dr.
Clarence Blalock will conduct the service. Interment will follow the same day at 1:00 p.m.,
with Military Honors, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, in
Jacksonville, Florida. There will not be a formal procession to the Cemetery. Any and all who
wish to attend the Interment are invited to do so.

Flowers are acceptable; however, the family requests that friends may instead contribute to the
Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256, and/or
Augusta Urban Ministries, Post Office Box 14634, Augusta, GA 30919, or to their favorite charity.
