Lewis B. Mace, 97, of a nursing home at 3215 Campbell, died Monday at the home. He was born in Foster, Mo., and lived here since 1903. Mr. Mace was a building contractor 60 years before he retired in 1970. He was a Mason. He was a member of the First Baptist church, Kansas City. He leaves his wife, Hannah Mace of the home; a stepson , William J. Besack, Bushong, Kas.; a brother, Raleigh Mace, Mission; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday at the Park Lawn chapel; burial in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 tonight at the chapel.
