On June 23, 1950, she was joined in marriage to Merle Harold Cloute in Dubuque, IA.
Donna was employed for many years at Stoppenbach and along with her husband owned a bar on Main Street in Fort Atkinson. She then became a bartender at Clarks until her retirement. She was also a life member of the DAV and American Legion Auxiliaries.
Donna leaves behind her son, Merle Kenneth Cloute of Fort Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Cloute of Whitewater; grandchild, Alexis Jean (Jenny) Cloute of Janesville; great grandchild, and sister-in-law, Ruth Cloute. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and all four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the memorial home until time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
