Donna Mae (Seeber) Cloute, 87 of Fort Atkinson, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at Alden Estates of Jefferson. She was born on January 19, 1931 to William and Mille (Grosskutz) (or Grosskreutz) Seeber. She had four brothers, Raymond, Robert, William and Lawrence.
On June 23, 1950, she was joined in marriage to Merle Harold Cloute in Dubuque, IA.
Donna was employed for many years at Stoppenbach and along with her husband owned a bar on Main Street in Fort Atkinson. She then became a bartender at Clarks until her retirement. She was also a life member of the DAV and American Legion Auxiliaries.
Donna leaves behind her son, Merle Kenneth Cloute of Fort Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Cloute of Whitewater; grandchild, Alexis Jean (Jenny) Cloute of Janesville; great grandchild, and sister-in-law, Ruth Cloute. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and all four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the memorial home until time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
