Juanita Mae Davis of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 86 years of age. She was born May 6, 1928 in Cason, Texas to A.B.C. and Maude E. Fomby.

Juanita was a member of the Nevills Chapel Baptist Church and a retired nurses aid.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Debbie Riley and Linda Hughes both of Mount Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren, Shannon and Donna Hughes, Wendy and Joe Phillips, Tonya and Aaron Mullins, Sonja Islam, and Deann and Josey Gardner; great grandchildren, Wilson, Ryan and Sara Phillips, Thomas, Drew and Emily Hughes, Noah and Naomi Islam, Savannah Mullins and Riley and Ruby Gardner; one sister, Maude Niblett of Mount Pleasant, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesse Davis and one great grandchild Isaac Mullins, 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel. Interment will follow at the Center Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
