Sandra Lynn Abel, 43, of Nauvoo Rd., Port Byron, died Tuesday peacefully at home. She was employed at Welch-Allyn. An avid participant of Bikers for Babies, and received her Mama's Wings. Surviving: companion, John Whiffen; son, Darren Caldwell; daughter, Denise Caldwell both of Chase Mills, NY; father, Robert Abel (Helen); mother, Beatrice Watkins; sister, Patricia Abel of Auburn; stepbrother, Steve Heindrich (Colleen); stepsisters, Kathleen and Annette; grandmother, Doris Pitcher; granddaughter, Olivia Caldwell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Friday at 11 a.m., Cheche Funeral Home, 1778 Clark St. Rd., Auburn, with the Rev. Chris Carr officiating. Calling Hours: Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
