Irene Harriet was the dau of Thomas P. and Hattie S. (Eye) McCormick. She never married and after her father became ill in 1900, until his death in 1910, she helped provided for the family. Afterwards, she took care of her mother until her mother's death in 1953. She was employed at Black's Department Store for 50 years. She loves her family and in return was much loved by them. Her brother Franklyn "MacCormack" was the famous WGN, Chicago radio personality, who died in 1971 but is not buried at Fairview.
