Cathy was born September 30, 1958 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Earl T. and V. Irene (Spiker) Barnett.
Survivors include her mother, V. Irene Barnett of Columbus; a daughter, Michelle Hayes of Indianapolis; a son, Richard (Stephanie) Merriman of Bargersville; grandchildren: Gracie Hayes and Chloe Grubb; a brother, David (Sherry) Barnett of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her father; sisters: Anita West and Wilma Perry; and brothers: Darrell L. Barnett and Donald L. Barnett.
