Mary Hemry “Little Bit’, 63 of Vernon, Texas passed away early morning of May 25th, 2018.
She follows her mother and father, aunts, uncles, cousins and one great granddaughter.
At the same time she leaves behind a loving pain in the tush husband Donald Hemry as well as her camo loving hunter, daughter Penny Salinas, her partner in crime,chauffer and stay at home daughter Christen LeMaire, her big loving truck driver teddy bear Timothy Hemry, her big Marine Gerald Hemry and her princess of a daughter Heidi Kincheloe, her grandchildren the sparkle of her eye, Darrell Stewart, Kathleen Stewart, Carrie Salinas, Ashley Stewart, Titiyana Bates, David Salinas, Detric Hemry, Trena Bates, Stevie Back, Stephawn Bates, Destinie Stewart, Z Kincheloe, Treveon Hemry, Tierra Hemry, Gerald Jr. Hemry Hannah Salinas,Thomas Hemry, Gabrieal Hemry, Terrence Hemry, Caidance Hemry, Reighlynn Stewart, Kairi Kincheloe, Garrett Hemry and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers Kelly Rogers, George LaHue and Wayne LaHue.
She leaves a lifelong collection of knickknacks and other items for her children as well as the love and passion from the volunteering for the VFWA to putting a smile on someone’s face with clowning to making almost everyone feel welcomed. Mary was an active and lifetime member of the VFWA where she was department flag bearer, a District President, an Auxiliary President as well as many other offices. She was always doing something in support of our veterans. Mary loved to drive, from truck driving to charter bus driving to driving to conventions in North Carolina or driving to host a party as “Little Bit”. She will be missed, but has moved on and received her wings.
Services will be held Tuesday May 29, 2018 at 1:00pm at the St. Paul Lutheran Fellowship Hall with Kelly Rogers officiating. Burial will be at the Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
