Obituary for Hubert May
Auburn- Hubert May, 80, of Oxford passed away on Thursday, May 17 at Hospice House. He was born in Poland on July 14, 1937 the son of James and Gertrude Strout May. He had been employed at Robinson Manufacturing, Marcal Paper, and had worked as a carpenter. He had worked on building the Maine Turnpike. He retired from the Greene Central School as a custodian after 37 years. He loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He enjoyed model trains and was a member of the 3 Railer Club. He also enjoyed gardening, his flower gardens and Christmas decorations. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was very proud to have shot a record deer, 12 point, 240 pounds.
He is survived by his significant other, Diane Page; his children, Lloyd May and Debbie, Melissa May, Angela Achorn and Jerry and Jody Kirby and Brett; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister Janice Davis and Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.

May-died in Auburn, May 17, 2018. Hubert May, 80, of Oxford. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 10 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Poland. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
