Adrenna Mae Epling, 94, of Ripley, WV, passed away May 23, 2018, at her home.

She was born September 18, 1923, in Sovereign, Logan County, WV, a daughter to the late James Albert and Ethel (DeJarnette) Smith.

Her husband Carlos; brothers, Leland, and Lee and sisters, Mina Chapman and Mary Kinder also preceded her in death.

Adrenna was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ripley, WV. She served as a Rosie the Riveter in Baltimore, MD, during World War II and she enjoyed, sewing, tending to the lawn and farming.

Survivors include her children, Gary Epling (Bernita), Dianne Dolin (Danny), Suzanne Smith (Larry) and Randy Epling (Theresa Bailey) all of Ripley; grandchildren, Laura Mount (Jerod), Rebekah Epling, Danny Lee Dolin, Deanna Sortino (Vince), Angela Perry (Jeff Keffer), April Alexander (Kenny Woods),Savanna Whited, Rodney Epling, and Faythe Maston; and great grandchildren, Walker Mount, Wyatt Mount, Danni Rae Dolin, Josie Keffer, Ridge Keffer, Bailey Blick, Dillion Alexander, Colby Alexander, Cullen Alexander and Colt Lee Whited.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church, Ripley, WV, with the Rev. Claire Butler officiating. Private burial will be in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Ripley, WV. Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, is assisting the family.
