Helen was a member of St. Peter & Paul Church in Naperville.
She is survived by her sons R. Max (Jane) Mayer of Batavia, Illinois, Michael (Jennifer) Mayer of Scottsdale, Arizona, twins Jeffrey (Jena) Mayer of Dallas, Texas and Jerome Mayer of Porter, Texas, Mark (Kelly) Mayer of Overland Park, Kansas; and daughter Betty Ann (Suradej) Uswajesdakul of Naperville, Illinois; her sister Terese Dickerson and 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Boniface J. "B.J." Mayer and her siblings; Frank (Rose) Vala, John Vala, Martin Vala, Wes Vala, Albina (Jim) Busek, and Mary Rose Cooper.
Private Interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
