Otis worked at a defense plant in Nebraska several years and from 1958 to 1964 farmed near Hector. He spent most of his life in the Morgan area and worked at the locker plant and was a policeman at Morgan. He was a member of St. John Church.
Otis and Ida were the parents of Darlene (Robert) Samuelson & Shirley (Robert) Montgomery. Otis' siblings include Verona (Elmer) Landgraff and Leona (Morris) Landgraff. Otis was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday from St. John Lutheran Church in Morgan, Rev. John Quam officiating.
