Herbert Ray Jones
RANDLES — Herbert Ray Jones, 56 years old, died at his home in Randles Sunday morning of an apparent heart attack.
He was born March 4, 1924 in London, Ark., to Selma (Hickey) Jones, who survives, and the late Joe H. Jones. Mr Jones had been an employee of Florsheim Shoe Co in Cape Girardeau, and was a member of the Free Trinity Pentecostal Church in Randles.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs Ervin Blackard, London, Ark and Mrs. Ray Gene Simpson, Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Chaffee with the Rev Luther Rhodes, a general Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
