ROBERT LEE "BOB" PARSONS
January 19, 1898 ~ March 7, 1982

Robert L. "Bob" Parsons, 84, of Idabel, died Sunday in Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Parsons was born January 19, 1898 in Arkansas and had lived in McCurtain County since 1909, moving from Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and a member of Lynn Lane Church of Christ.

Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lynn Lane Church of Christ with Leon Green and Victor Balagbagan officiating. Interment will be in the Denison Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Sadie Parsons, of the home; two stepdaughters, Ruby Pittman of Idabel and Lois Brownlee of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, G. F. Parsons of Idabel and Sterling Parsons of Battiest; two sisters, Ethel Terrack of Modisto, Calif. and Nannie Watson of Battiest.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Norwood Funeral Home.
