Fannettsburg - Leroy G. Barrick, 86, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born June 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Mabel Jane (Newesbaum) Barrick. He was married to Donna M. (Jayne) Waters on March 3, 1990. Mrs. Barrick survives at home.
He is survived by six children, Edna Bopst, Hampstead, MD, Leroy "Joe" and wife, Debbie, Chambersburg, Diane Spires and husband, Timothy, Lehigh Acres, FL, Penny Brown, Fannettsburg, Dorothy Blackstone and husband, Jeff, Breezewood, and James Waters, Penbrook, PA. There are 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Four brothers; three sisters; and a grandson are deceased.
Mr. Barrick attended Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap.
He worked at farming, construction and last as a self-employed logger.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, with Pastor Berry Brown officiating. A funeral luncheon will be held at 11 AM at the Fair Ridge Fellowship Hall followed by viewing in the church from 1 to 2 PM. Interment will be at Fannettsburg Reformed Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
