Annie Bell Campbell, 90, of Elkton, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Mrs. Campbell was born June 10, 1927 in Roanoke Va. and was the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Lilly Bell Bowels.
On December 19, 1946, she married, Ernest Franklin Campbell, who preceded her in death, December 02, 2007.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Franklin Campbell Jr, two sons- in -law, Ralph Dofflemyer and Kenneth Raynes and seven siblings.
Annie retired from Dunham Bush in 1990. Annie enjoyed making and decorating cakes, flowers and spending time with family. She made all the cakes and the flowers arrangements for all her grandchildren's weddings. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always putting her family first. Words cannot express how blessed we were to have her in our lives.
Annie is survived by two daughters, Starr E. Dofflemyer and Teresa D. Raynes both of Elkton; a daughter -in -law, Barbara Campbell; four grandchildren, Ralph E Dofflemyer Jr. and wife Melissa, Angela Hutchinson, Kenny Raynes and wife, Jennifer, Cindy Bush and husband, Mike; eleven great- grandchildren, Aaron Dofflemyer, Wesley Dofflemyer, Walker Dofflemyer, H.J. Hutchinson, Jessica Shell, Natalie Raynes, Lilly Raynes, Stella Lawson, Ginger Judd, Kay Bush and Nikki Bush; two great -great- grandchildren, Axel Dofflemyer and Alli Hutchinson, all of whom she loved dearly and many nieces and nephews.
The Rev. L.J "Dickie" Campbell and Rev. Dan Bassett will conduct a memorial service at 3 pm on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asked that family and friends join them at the house after the service for a light meal in honor of Annie.
