Moncks Corner - James O. Hutson, 69, of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 10th, 2018. James is survived by his eternal companion, Sandra Willis, daughter Sherri (Patrick) Branham, daughter Tiffany Hutson, son Jamie Hutson, son Joshua Hutson, 13 grandchildren (Ashtan, Emily, Ryan, Abigail, Carrie, Rachel, Thomas, JW, Tyler, Samantha, Kameron, Kody, Elizabeth), 6 great grandchildren (Palmer, Rowen, Tripp, River, Addilyn, Rosie), 4 brothers (Robert, Walter, Milton, Donald), 2 sisters (Diane, Miriam), and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. James was a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. James loved carpentry, had a skill for woodworking, and was self-employed as a general contractor for 30+ years. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family camping, boating, and traveling. He was a leader for the Boy Scouts of America for many years, coached recreational ball teams his children played on, and also enjoyed karate earning a brown belt. James was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church. He will be greatly missed yet his memorable legacy of great values and principles lives within all those he loved and leaves behind. The relatives and friends of James Hutson are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday May 17, 2018 at 11:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 319 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC, 29461, burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens.
