Mrs. Laura E. Tucker, McLean, died in Cortland Memorial Hospital.

Born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Anna Vogel Tucker. She was a resident of Rothiemay, Montana before coming to Cortland in 1928. She has lived in McLean since 1945 with her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Darling on the McLean-Cortland Road.

She retired from the Crescent-Corset Company in Cortland in 1966.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cortland.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by two sons, Albert Tucker, working for the Philco-Ford Company, Taiwan and Raymond Tucker of Tallahassee, Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Darling, Cortland and Mrs. Vera Shaw of McLean; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Edwin Vogel, Jamesville, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Frieda Owen of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her late parents; and her late husband, Albert F. Tucker who died January 7, 1963.

Funeral services were held in the Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden. Burial was in McLean Cemetery.

Bearers: Donald Fuller, Earl Gailor, John McCabe, Larry Doubleday, James and Charles Yacavonne.
