Terry O. Morrison, 73, of Fulton, went to be with the Lord and to reunite with his son, Peter, in Heaven on Friday December 6, 2013. Terry was born in Fulton, November 28, 1940, the son of the late Otis and Elizabeth (Hubbard) Morrison. He worked at Armstrong and retired from New York Telephone Company, Syracuse after many years of service. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton, Baldwinsville.
Terry's greatest passion was the love he had for his family. He was a talented carpenter who built his own home, and was instrumental in the construction in each of his children's homes. He loved to travel and had the pleasure of seeing many different places in the United States and abroad. Terry spent summers enjoying the sunsets at Brennans Beach, Pulaski, and he especially enjoyed his winters at The Villages, Florida.
He was the beloved husband of Felicia (LaFrate) Morrison for 54 years; father of Mary Ellen (Norman) Ellis of Hannibal, Laurence (Denise Perkins) Morrison and Patrick (Debra) Morrison all of Fulton; grandfather of Patti, Mary and Keely Morrison and Kristen McClellan; his sister, Sandra Cunningham of NC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mary Jane Wright of Baldwinsville, sister-in-law Donna LaFrate of Baldwinsville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thank you goes to the staff on the 3rd floor Oncology Unit, at St. Joseph's Hospital, for the care and comfort they provided during this difficult time.
A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the spring. Donations can be made in Terry's memory to Unity Acres, PO Box 153, Orwell, NY 13426. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., Fulton.
