Alice Joanne HOWLEY (1936 - 2018)
Alice Joanne Howley passed peacefully at age 81 on April 26, 2018 surrounded by loving family. Alice was born in Omaha, NE to Charles and June Rubek on June 15, 1936. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Michael and Robert Howley, granddaughter, Daron Howley, and her companion of 25 years, Richard Russell. She is survived by her son, Charles Howley; daughter, Diane Nelson; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her brother and sister; as well as her dear friend, Glenda; and her beloved Pippin.
Alice had many interests and talents. She was a great cook and enjoyed reading, gardening and crafts. She loved history and politics and was crazy for coffee.
Alice was deeply devoted to her famly. She was always there for her children and grandchildren in times of need. We are grateful for her love and support and will miss her passionate spirit.
A graveside service will be held May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent.
