Richard F. Drobish of Hanover Twp. passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Celtic Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisnger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born May 12, 1954, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence Olszewski Drobish.

Rich was a 1972 graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre, and a 1974 graduate of Luzerne County Community College.

He worked as a laborer at various jobs over the years and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Hamlon.

Surviving are his son, Rich Drobish, Kingston; daughter, Kerri Drobish, Luzerne; grandchildren, Veronica Drobish and Deklan Reznick; sisters, Dorothy Rizzo, Little Egg Harbor, N.J.; Roberta Doolin, Leavenworth, Kan.; Mary Ellen Rebo, Plains Twp.; and Jane Politz and her husband, Michael, Shickshinny; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
