The funeral for Danny Wayne Adams will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. David Cunningham and Rev. Brent Lee will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sinking Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to WATCH Inc. 702 Main St., Murray, KY 42071.
Mr. Adams, 62, Mitchell Story Road, Murray, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at 11:05 p.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A former employee of the former Murray Division of Tappan Company, he was a self employed tobacco farmer and also working for Taylor Store Farms, founded by Marvin Lassiter.
He was of Baptist faith. Born Nov. 29, 1947 in Calloway County, he was the son of the late Bernie and Beauton Norman Adams. One sister, Bobbie Adams, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Sheridan Adams, to whom he was married Nov. 20, 1965; two sons, Jimmy Adams and wife, Mitiz, Murray, and Jason Adams and wife, Danyelle, Hazel; three grandchildren, Morgan, Kasi and Delayna Adams, all of Murray; special friend, Irene Carter, Hazel; three brothers-in-law, Otis Brown and Gerald Sheridan and wife, Patti, all of Hazel, and Johnny Sheridan and wife, Carol, Murray; sister-in-law, Helen Hobbs and husband, Thomas, Palmersville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
