William "Bill" Therrel Worley, age 91, of Palestine, Texas died April 14, 2007 at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Burial at Parker Cemetery, near Grapeland, Texas is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Worley was born November 22, 1915 in Anderson County, the son of the late C.E. Worley and Velma Farish Worley. Mr. Worley was a member of the North Jackson Baptist Church, a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines, and an engineer for Liberty Fish & Oyster Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen Payne Worley who died in 2001; son, Dale Worley; and brother, Maurice Worley. He is survived by sons and their wives, Lavelle Worley and Joce, and Earl Worley and Carol; sister, Shirley Bodin; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
