John Louis DeRossett 73, Died September 28,1981 at Firmin Desloge Hospital in St. Louis Missouri of an illness of three weeks.
He was born on February 19,1908
in Grand Tower to Frank and Jane (Lindsey)DeRossett.
He Married Beulah Newfarmer on February 20,1946 and she survives. He was a member of the Grimsby Pentecostal Church in Grimsby.
He retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad.

Survivors include his wife Beulah DeRossett of Sand Ridge,
and daughters shelby Jean Smith of Manteno Illinois, Barbara ann Mason of Cape Girardeau Missouri,Shirley Kay Fortner of Pineville Louisiana,Linda Sue Davis of Murphysboro,Mary Lou DeRossett of Sand Ridge,Betty Marie DeRossett of Sand Ridge, and sons Lloyd DeRossett of Manteno Illinois,Gerald Henry DeRossett of Murphysboro Illinois,Michael Louis DeRossett of Augusta Georgia,Gary Keith DeRossett of Paducah Kentucky, William Ray Ellis of Grand Tower Illinois,Hubert Ellis of Manteno Illinois,John Louis DeRossett of Wright City Missouri,and Willard Ellis of Murphysboro Illinois, and 21 grandchildren, four great grandchildren,one brother Lloy d Everett DeRossett of Howardton Illinois. One Son,one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2:00P.m. Thursday at Grimbsby Pentecostal Church, with the Sister Irene Cheney officiating. Burial will follow in Goodbread Cemetery,in Gorham.

Friends may call after 5P.M. Wednesday until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro. Friends may call from 12:00 noon Thursday until the hour of the service at the church.
