She lived in Italy for two years prior to moving to Hibbing, Minn., in 1916, and later to Duluth. Mary married Patrick G. Sisto on Aug. 11, 1934. She had worked at the Glass Block for 26 years until retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the West Duluth American Legion, Unit 71, the Italian American Auxiliary, and AARP. Mary was an avid bowler and card player for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and with her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick on Feb. 24, 1992.
Mary is survived by her son, Eugene P. (Laurie) Sisto; daughter, Leonella V. (Wayne) Carlton; grandchildren: Debbie (David) Nelson, Michael Sisto, and Leann (Jeff) Draxten; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Jennie Price, Grace Otteson, and Carmella Colalillo; brothers: Albert (Jane Aho) Colalillo, and Michael (Lina) Colalillo; and numerous nieces nephews.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
