Donna Lou (Ruffing) Snowberger Hughes, 87, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Carey, went on to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
She was born January 17, 1931, to Clarence and Minnie (Adelsperger) Ruffing. She married Howard J. (Red) Snowberger in 1950 and they had four children, Jeffrey L. Snowberger, Vero Beach, FL; Thomas M. Snowberger, Vero Beach, FL; Angela I. (Douglas) Strahm, Vanlue; and Jayne C. Snowberger, deceased. She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
After her divorce from Howard she married Jerald F. Hughes, deceased. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Florence (Carl) Groh and Glenna (Bernard) Mahler.
She was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, and a 1948 graduate of Carey High School.
Private services will be held by the family and she will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carey.
